Ortovox Ravine 26 S

The new Ravine 26 S is a lightweight, minimalist, and technical freeride backpack designed for quick ascents and challenging descents. The standout feature: all essential gear can be stored and accessed on the go without having to remove the pack.

With the help of a quickly adjustable, parallel ski attachment with a carabiner, even wide freeride skis can be secured to the backpack with just one hand during short carrying sections. A practical additional pocket at the bottom of the backpack accommodates crampons and snowshoes, keeping them readily accessible without needing to take the pack off. The separate safety compartment provides quick access to all emergency equipment as well as a lightweight ice axe, while all items in the main compartment can be reached from the top or the side. Additionally, the Ravine 26 S features the usual attachment options for skis, poles, rope, helmet, and ice screws, along with a map pocket and a hydration system preparation.

Thanks to the ergonomic Full Contact Light Back System, the backpack optimally distributes the load across the back and conforms to the spine without slipping. The Ravine 26 S is specifically designed for smaller individuals with its shortened back system. For added spine protection, the Ravine 26 S can be equipped on the inside with the Clasp Spine Protector. The spine protector is certified to motorcycle standards, sold separately, and can be easily slid into a separate inner pocket.

In addition to safety and functionality, the Ravine 26 S also focuses on environmental sustainability: the freeride backpack is completely PFC-free and is produced in a climate-neutral manner from recycled polyamide.
