The hardshell jacket is lightweight and technically designed, yet robust and comfortable. The Dermizax NX membrane from Toray provides wind and waterproofing as well as breathability—it's the most powerful membrane used by Ortovox. For an optimal fit, even with a climbing harness, the hardshell jacket features a two-way zipper. Underarm ventilation is provided by a two-way zipper during strenuous ascents. Soft inserts made from a Merino material blend at the chin and the two-way adjustable, helmet-compatible storm hood offer comfort and protection in rain, snow, or icy conditions.
