With the use of Cordura and PFC-free double-layer 420D Oxford polyamide, the Haute Route 38 S is extremely abrasion-resistant and additionally water-repellent thanks to the PU coating on all fabrics. Load control straps and the O-Flex-2 back system with ergonomic fit and an S-shaped stabilizer ensure optimal fit, evenly distributing weight between the hips and shoulders even over extended periods. The hip fins connect internally to the back system, allowing them to wrap around the body seamlessly and comfortably. The Haute Route 38 S features a shortened back system and is specifically designed for smaller individuals.

With its larger volume, the Haute Route 38 S can accommodate everything you need. The spacious main compartment is accessible from the top and the back, ensuring that all items are quickly at hand, while a separate safety compartment guarantees quick access to emergency gear. Thanks to the rope fixation on the backpack lid, a carried rope can be quickly packed or unpacked without having to open the lid. In addition to ice axe and pole attachments, as well as a fixed helmet net, there are also flexible carrying attachments available for items like a snowboard. Skis can be attached in both a classic and diagonal manner to the ski touring backpack.
