The Haute Route has been around since the inception of ski touring. Our tried-and-true classic is perfect for longer ski traverses.

Made with Cordura and PFC-free double-layered 420D Oxford polyamide, the Haute Route 38 S is extremely abrasion-resistant and additionally water-repellent thanks to the PU coating on all fabrics. Load control straps and the O-Flex-2 back system with ergonomic fit and an S-shaped stabilizer ensure an optimal fit, distributing weight evenly between the hips and shoulders even over long periods. The hip fins connect internally to the back system, allowing them to wrap comfortably and seamlessly around the body. The Haute Route 38 S features a shortened back system and is specifically designed for smaller individuals.

With its larger volume, the Haute Route 38 S can accommodate everything you need. The spacious main compartment is accessible from both the top and the back, ensuring that all your gear is quickly at hand, while a separate safety compartment guarantees quick access to emergency equipment. Additionally, a rope fixation on the backpack lid allows for quick packing and unpacking of a carried rope without having to open the lid. In addition to crampon fixation, ice axe and pole attachments, and a fixed helmet net, there are also flexible carrying attachments available, for example, for a snowboard. Skis can be attached in both classic and diagonal positions on the ski touring backpack.
