That's why the Fleece Grid line is ideal for use in the mountains: thanks to the channel structure inside, the men's fleece hoodie is lightweight but can retain air and warmth due to the air pockets. The Fleece Light insert in the chest area and the double-layered chest pocket provide additional light wind protection. During moments of intense movement, the material composition guarantees not only high elasticity but also optimal ventilation through the internal channel structure. Temperature regulation is enhanced by the fine merino wool on the inside: Tasmanian merino wool regulates moisture and temperature, dries quickly, and neutralizes odors. Additionally, merino wool offers great wearing comfort. The two chest pockets can hold a map, phone, or energy bar. The hood provides extra protection against wind and weather.

Since 1995, merino wool has been an integral part of ORTOVOX mountain clothing. The merino wool comes from selected farms that meet our own standard: the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE. The wool used by ORTOVOX is sourced from sheep-friendly and verified farms. As part of the OWP, the sheep farming operations are regularly inspected. The wool is naturally 100% organic and therefore particularly sustainable. Merino wool is extremely soft and pleasant against the skin due to its fine yarns with a very small fiber diameter. It is not only comfortable but also optimally regulates moisture and temperature. It is also easy to clean, and its antibacterial properties neutralize odors.
