Ortovox Civetta

The 2.5 Civetta Jacket impresses with the interplay of minimal weight (68 g/m²) and the high-performance membrane Dermizax DT from Toray. The 2.5 layer construction is equipped with the water column (min. 20,000 mm) of a hardshell and the lightness and breathability (min. 10,000 g/m² / 24 h) of a wind jacket. On the inside, the membrane is protected from abrasion by the patented Micro Bead structure and at the same time increases comfort against the skin. Tiny, incorporated beads (Micro Beads) in the structure allow faster moisture absorption and release to the membrane. This creates a dry feeling on the skin.

Features such as the elastic hem cuff or the chest pocket make the Merino Hardshell even more functional: the jacket can now be completely stowed in the inner pocket and, thanks to the loop on the inside, can be quickly fixed to the climbing harness or minimally compressed in the backpack. This makes the lightweight jacket the perfect companion for alpine tours where lightness, small pack size and high protection are required.

In addition, the highly functional rain jacket is equipped with a self-adjusting hood. A circumferential elastic band and a reinforced peak ensure an optimal fit in rain and wind. Discreet Merino Cool inserts simultaneously increase the wearing comfort in the chin and forehead area. The elastic sleeve cuffs and elastic hem prevent unwanted penetration of wind and moisture. Enough storage space for map, topo, bar or cell phone remains as before in the chest pocket.

The ultra-lightweight 2.5 layer jacket for women focuses on the essentials without sacrificing function and comfort. For the sake of the environment, it is now completely PFC-free.
