Nudie Jeans Gritty Jackson Dry Old

This dry denim, weighing 14.15 oz, resembles an old denim from the 1950s. True to its heritage, it is made from ring-spun warp and weft threads of irregular thickness, as was often the case with fabrics for workwear back then. The dark, yet not overly black indigo warp, dyed with pure indigo, also stays true to its roots.

With wear and washing, the yarns will interact, and you will reap the benefits of a heavier ring-spun denim: distinct loops, pleasant shading, and a marbling effect. It is the irregular warp and weft threads that create the shading effect, and the integrated tension formed by the threads that produces the marbling effect after washing. Since this denim is dyed with pure indigo, it ages to a clean reddish-blue hue.
