Nudie Jeans Grim Tim

Slim-fit jeans with a straight leg made from stretchy organic denim. These jeans have been washed in a medium blue-grey tone. The seams feature vibrant colors that contrast with dark indigo deposits, giving these jeans a rich contrast. The wash has highlighted the slight irregularities of the broken twill denim, showcasing both marbled wash effects and a grainy texture. Gentle abrasions emphasize and provide a slightly worn appearance.

Broken twill is a variation of twill weave. Regular twill has a diagonal structure, while broken twill is woven in alternating directions. When viewed up close, broken twill reveals a zigzag pattern. It was originally developed to prevent leg twisting, which was unavoidable and associated with regular denim at the time. Broken twill also had the added benefit of being softer and more comfortable, making it an excellent choice beyond its aesthetic appeal.
