To increase the fit, our Cherrapunji rain poncho is now available in three different sizes. The positive features for weather protection in dreary, rainy autumn weather or stormy gusts at the coast have remained as usual. The waterproof, tear-resistant polyamide outer material, sealed seams, and a water column of 12,000 mm ensure lasting dry comfort. The size of the hood with a shape-retaining brim can be adjusted with a Velcro strap.
For the daily bike commuter, two additional features have been integrated. The rain poncho is equipped on both sides with a 3M Scotchlite reflective strip, which enhances safety in road traffic and allows for early recognition at dusk. Furthermore, practical fastening loops have been incorporated at the bottom to prevent annoying flapping in the wind. Even a small daypack can be worn underneath the poncho.
The front pocket with a YKK zipper provides ample storage space to safely keep important items like a wallet, mobile phone, or house keys dry during day trips, bike rides, or walks. Additionally, the pocket serves as a packing bag for the poncho itself. Using the "stuffing technique," the entire poncho can be stored there and packed down to a small size for easy storage in a backpack.
