The hats by Olaf are knitted from 100% merino wool within a 10-hour train ride from Zurich in Northern Germany. After removing the labels and sewing threads, the hats are 100% biodegradable. Olaf operates one of the few traditional knitting companies in Germany. The business was founded in 1956 and has been family-owned ever since. The models Nebel, Kiel, and Elbe are inspired by the North and Baltic Seas and feature a timeless design. Merino wool is naturally breathable, making it the perfect companion for those with a passion for hiking or urban nomads. These hats are shipped by individuals with primarily cognitive impairments in collaboration with the Züriwerk foundation.
