Goodyear Welt Paolino Supreme by Mephisto is a modern and elegant lace-up shoe that combines Soft Air technology with the Goodyear Welt technique. Entirely handmade with incomparable quality and craftsmanship, this shoe features one of the most challenging manufacturing processes in shoemaking. The Goodyear Welt is characteristic of very high-end footwear, offering an extremely durable construction that allows for the soles to be replaced multiple times. It is not uncommon for owners of these shoes to enjoy a lifespan of 20 years. The latex foam midsoles utilize Soft-Air Technology, providing light, airy cushioning with every step and relieving impact on the knees, hips, and lower back. The natural rubber outersole is mixed with oxygen to add compression, shock absorption, and reduce weight.
