The Goodyear Welt is characteristic of very high-quality shoes. It features an extremely durable construction that allows the soles to be replaced repeatedly. It is not uncommon for owners of these shoes to achieve a lifespan of 20 years. The latex foam midsole utilizes Soft-Air technology, which cushions each step lightly and airily, relieving the knees, hips, and lower back. The natural rubber outsole has been oxygen-enriched to enhance compression and shock absorption while reducing weight.
