Animal Welfare. This product is made from the wool of alpacas that are kept under strict animal welfare measures and using demanding farming methods.

Alpaca wool is beautifully soft, but it can also shed fibers! For cleaning, we recommend hand washing and then laying flat to dry. Small balls may form during the first washes, which is not unusual. You can remove these with a garment brush with soft bristles by gently brushing the sweater in the direction of the fibers. Alternatively, you can also use small scissors. To prevent fiber loss, you can place the garment in a plastic bag in the freezer for 2 hours or in the refrigerator overnight. The cold tightens the fibers of the wool and prevents pilling.
