In the 1950s, co-founder of Katin, Walter Katin, sat at his sewing machine and created the very first pair of Katin shorts - the Waterman Trunk. Since its introduction, this iconic silhouette has been part of our trunks collection, honoring Walter Katin and his unmatched craftsmanship. The Waterman Trunk has since established itself as the first American surf shorts.
