Motion sickness is the brain's reaction when the world moves but the body remains still, something we are not naturally accustomed to. The inner ear sends different signals than the eyes, causing the brain to perceive the body as sick and dizzy, similar to food poisoning. This uncomfortable feeling can be alleviated in many different ways, but one of the simplest methods is wearing bracelets that apply acupuncture. The bracelets exert pressure on a specific point, P6, which stimulates the median nerve and prevents "I feel nauseous" signals from being transmitted between the stomach and the brain.
