The Rosalie cut is a nice alternative between an Edelweiss blouse and an Edelweiss bustier. Comfortable cut, sporty and yet somehow festive.
Design:

• button-through - puff sleeves with elasticated cuffs - slight V-neckline in a heart shape - fitted, with darts at the front and back - short cut - The Rosalie blouse is cut rather small (please note our size information).

We created the first Edelweiss women's blouses almost 40 years ago. They were unrivalled at the time. Since then, we have constantly adapted our range. Be it with modern patterns or the launch of new colours and fabrics. This includes the Rosalie blouse made from our lightweight, woven Edelweiss fabric.
The lightweight Edelweiss fabric is made from 100% cotton and is woven using the "Scherli" weaving technique. "Scherli" is the name for an elaborate type of patterning. A pattern (e.g. edelweiss) is woven into a base fabric using additional weft threads. These connecting threads lie loosely on the back of the fabric. They are cut off after weaving. This used to be done by hand with scissors. Hence the name "Scherli". The fabric is highly tear-resistant and has an easy-care finish.
