Light Edelweiss shirts made from our lightweight Edelweiss fabric. 100% cotton, Scherli pattern, machine washable at 40°C (please refer to our care instructions).

Fabric lightweight elegant

The fabric is made from 100% lightweight cotton. The light weave and absence of synthetic fibers create a summer fabric with fantastic wearing properties. Natural fibers like cotton are highly absorbent, provide a balancing effect, and are low in odor. "Scherli" refers to a complex type of patterning. A pattern (e.g., Edelweiss) is woven into a base fabric using additional weft threads. These connecting threads lie loosely on the back of the fabric and are cut off after weaving. In the past, this was done by hand with scissors; today, it is done by machine. Hence the name "Scherli." This allows for the creation of a lightweight yet robust Edelweiss fabric made from 100% cotton.
