The traditional Edelweiss shirts were worn without collar. This "collar" style lasts a long time even under heavy use and offers more freedom of movement. That is why it is still so popular with wrestlers today. For example, the wrestling queen Sonia Kälin wears this blouse during her missions in the sawdust.
