With the Tree-Kånken, Fjällräven has found an alternative to fossil raw materials. Made from Pine Weave, a unique material produced using more sustainable methods from certified Swedish trees that grow near Fjällräven's hometown of Örnsköldsvik. The material is waxed, giving it a natural marbled effect. The backpack combines the simplicity of the Kånken with carefully modified details that give the Tree-Kånken its own identity: a reflective logo, a flat pocket on the front, and a strap at the bottom for securing gear.
