Fjällräven Sten Fleece Jacket

Lightweight, comfortable fleece jacket made of recycled polyester with a slightly mottled look. Can be worn under a top jacket or alone. The fleece material is produced in an environmentally friendly process where the threads are spun and dyed simultaneously. This model consumes approximately 50 percent less water and 32 percent less energy than a conventional fleece jacket. The reinforcement of robust G-1000 in the shoulder area reduces friction under the shoulder straps of a backpack. It features a high collar that protects against cutting wind, with a fleece protective flap between the zipper and chin. There are two spacious side pockets with zippers, and all zip handles are made of natural-colored leather.

G-1000 is a sturdy and adaptable material from Fjällräven. The dense fabric is wind- and water-repellent, very robust, yet extremely breathable and quick-drying. G-1000 consists of a mixture of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, waxed with a thin layer of Greenland wax. The wax provides additional protection against dirt, wind, and moisture and can be applied thicker or washed out as needed. Besides wind and weather, G-1000 also protects against harmful sun rays and annoying insect bites.
