Product details
These lightweight cotton socks from Falke impress with the use of high-quality Fil d'Ecosse yarn. This gives them a unique brilliance. The yarn is sourced from sustainable cultivation, making it socially responsible, resource-efficient, and traceable. Whether for work or leisure, these men's socks are always a perfect companion, thanks to the extremely diverse color selection. In addition to a particularly flat toe seam and reinforced stress zones, a non-slip cotton sole on the inside contributes to an optimal wearing experience and reduces slipping in smooth shoes. Furthermore, the men's socks feature an extended cuff for a wrinkle-free fit on the leg.
The socks are made of 93% cotton (organic), 5% polyamide, and 2% elastane. Fil d’Ecosse – the special cotton fiber. Fil d’Ecosse refers to a cotton fiber that has been refined through the mercerization process. Mercerizing cotton reduces the length of the fibers, changes the cross-section, and causes the fibers to swell. These structural changes result in higher strength, better dyeability, and a wash-resistant, silky sheen. This process was developed by John Mercer in the mid-19th century. The refining process leads to higher quality in textiles. However, mercerization is also a very expensive process and is therefore only applied to high-quality garments. With Fil d’Ecosse socks, you will give your feet a very pleasant wearing experience. You will feel the high-quality craftsmanship of the Tiago socks on your skin.
