After being unfolded under the southern sun, the fibers and seeds are painstakingly combed out of the cotton fluff to create a product of pure purity and softness. Italian spinning mills produce a yarn from the extra-long fibers that, when double-twisted, offers exceptional strength and high durability. The additional finishing process of mercerization gives Fil d'Écosse its silky sheen and unique color intensity. FALKE Pure Fil d'Écosse is available in a diverse range of colors and features a classic ribbed appearance.
