In 1964, the company Haefner & Co., founded in 1957, was renamed Pikeur Equestrian Fashion. This was followed by the establishment of Eskadron Equestrian Equipment in 1977. The takeover and re-establishment of Pikeur Equestrian Fashion by the Brinkmann Group took place in 1990. The new company name is now Pikeur Equestrian Fashion Brinkmann GmbH & Co. The two managing partners, Wolfgang and Klaus Brinkmann, along with a large part of their staff, are active riders and deeply connected to horses.
