The footbed of this sole supports the feet and relaxes muscles, tendons and ligaments. The integrated pad supports the natural shape of the transverse metatarsal arch and prevents the foot from sinking, also known as splayfoot. The longitudinal arch support in turn supports the ankles and prevents the longitudinal arch of the foot from sinking in, also known as flat foot. The leather surface absorbs the resulting moisture and thus ensures a pleasant climate in the shoe.
