The Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro Hoody offers ultimate sun protection and water resistance for mountain excursions in unpredictable weather. In addition to the UPF 50+ fabric, we have also incorporated GTT's revolutionary Empel technology, an eco-friendly, PFC-free water-repellent treatment that outperforms all other C-6, C-8, or C-0 DWR solutions. The Alpenglow Pro is also equipped with a ¼ zip for temperature regulation, HeiQ Pure mesh inserts under the arms for added breathability, a concealed chest pocket, thumb loops, and a helmet-compatible hood, making this hoody an essential layer from the desert to the Alps.
