Upcycling - turning old into new

Enough with boring glasses cases. Our version, made from recycled rice bags, is colorful and eye-catching. This lightly padded glasses case fits small to medium-sized glasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses. It closes with a large zipper, and the inside is lined with a water-repellent and soft black fabric, featuring our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch. This glasses case is produced exclusively for Bekos by our partner AC Greenshop.

The material made from recycled bags is durable, waterproof, and long-lasting. The printed colors of the bags may show wear over time, which are normal signs of use and not considered defects. Each product is handmade and therefore unique, with slight variations in look and texture. The glasses case has differences in design on the back, while the front remains identical. Due to this small difference, design selection is not possible, and it will be delivered according to availability.

All our products made from cement bags, rice and fish food bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the seal of FairTrade, adhering to strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade, making each one unique. The material cut-outs may vary in design as the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was originally a fish food sack and later a rice sack before being transformed into these elegant accessories.
