Upcycling - turning old into new

Enough with boring glasses cases - with our version made from recycled rice bags, things get really colorful. The glasses case is lightly padded and a real eye-catcher. Small to medium-sized glasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses fit inside. The lightly padded glasses case closes with a large zipper. Inside, the case is lined with a water-repellent and soft black fabric, and our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch is applied. This glasses case was produced exclusively for Bekos by our partner AC Greenshop.

The material made from recycled rice bags is very robust, waterproof, and durable. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The look and texture of the material can vary slightly. This glasses case only has differences in design on the back; the front is all identical. With this small difference, a design selection is not possible; it will be delivered according to availability.

Help to reduce waste and at the same time do something good not only for nature but also for the disadvantaged society in Cambodia.

All our products from cement bags, rice and fish food bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the seal of FairTrade in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade; each one is unique. The material cut-outs can vary in design because the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was even first a fish food sack and in its second life a rice sack before it was processed into these noble accessories.
