Upcycling - Turning old into new

This daypack is a real eye-catcher with its exclusive design. The comfortable backpack is made from recycled fish food bags, making the material robust, water-repellent, and hard-wearing. It offers enough storage space for all the essentials you need for the day ahead. The backpack features two comfortably padded shoulder straps and a handle for carrying or hanging. Ample storage is provided by the two main compartments, each closing with a two-way zipper. Inside, there are also two open compartments and a zipped pocket. Small items can be stored on the outside in the two mesh side pockets. The inside showcases our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch.

The material, made from recycled bags, is very durable, waterproof, and long-lasting. The printed colors of the bags may show wear over time, depending on use. These are normal signs of use and are not considered defects. Each product is handmade and therefore unique, so the appearance and texture of the material may vary slightly.

All our products made from cement bags, rice and fish food bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the FairTrade seal in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade, making each one unique. The material cut-outs can vary in design because the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was originally a fish food sack and later became a rice sack before being transformed into these elegant accessories.
