The frame of the Rift is made from durable thermoplastic elastomers, while the lenses are crafted from polycarbonate with an anti-scratch coating. If the Rift happens to fall to the ground during a bike ride to the ice cream shop, everything will be fine. To prevent that from happening in the first place, the nose pads are individually adjustable and the temple ends are rubberized. This ensures that the Rift sits comfortably and securely on your head.
