With a radiant dark garnet red, the Phantom presents itself in the glass. A multifaceted, intriguing nose of forest berry cocktail, black olive, spice from rosemary, and cool mint, along with a subtle cedarwood underpinning. Fine roasted aromas from the barrel aging evoke Virginia tobacco leaves and fine leather, as well as graphite. Dark, juicy forest berries reappear on the palate, enveloped by a unique Pannonian spice. Despite the dark aromas on the nose and a hint of cappuccino on the palate, the wine is very refined, juicy, and fresh, with a spicy mint finish in the aftertaste. The youthful, elegant tannins paired with the invigorating acidity create a beautiful balance and promise pure drinking pleasure.
