Product details
The 25-hectare Jamek winery is located in Joching in the Austrian wine region of Wachau. The founding father, Josef Jamek, is considered a pioneer in Wachau winemaking and was instrumental in establishing the exceptional reputation of premium white wines from Austria. Currently, the winery is run by Herwig Jamek in its third generation, continuing the tradition. 85% of the production is white wine, with a total of 225,000 bottles filled each year. The steep slopes are primarily planted with Grüner Veltliner and Riesling on over a hundred stone terraces.
