Product details
The 25-hectare Jamek winery is located in Joching in the Austrian wine region of Wachau. The founding father, Josef Jamek, is considered a pioneer of Wachau viticulture and was partly responsible for the exceptionally good reputation of premium white wines from Austria. Currently, the winery is managed by Herwig Jamek in the third generation, continuing the tradition. 85% of the production is white wine, with a total of 225,000 bottles filled each year. The steep slopes are primarily planted with Grüner Veltliner and Rhine Riesling on over a hundred stone terraces.
