Product details

The cult Zweigelt par excellence, Johann Schwarz was one of the first to demonstrate the potential of this grape through yield reduction and optimal ripeness. It was not even twenty years ago that the master butcher finally switched to winemaking. His transformation from a butcher with a small vineyard to a passionate vintner is also related to the fact that in Burgenland today, a kilogram of pork tenderloin costs as much as a kilogram of ground meat in Switzerland. Yes, Schwarz is an honest man, and this is reflected in his wines.

Ingredients and instructions for use

Instructions for use
The "cult Zweigelt" par excellence, as Johann Schwarz was one of the first to show the potential of this grape by reducing yields and optimising ripeness. The nose reveals inviting aromas of juicy cherries, dark berries and some cassis, as well as herbal spice and fine, well-integrated roasted notes. Complex and gripping on the palate, with an elegant structure and a long finish.
