Product details
Nestled among the lush green, cone-shaped hills of the Veneto region, north of the provincial capital Treviso, lies the Cantina Colli Euganei. This picturesque area has been renowned for wine cultivation since ancient times. It is the birthplace of the world-famous Prosecco, which embodies the Italian way of life. Since 2020, the best-selling sparkling wine in the world is also available as a Rosé. The Rosé is made from Glera and 10 to 15 percent Pinot Nero and must be labeled with a vintage. Until the end of 2009, Prosecco (now Glera) referred to the white grape variety used for Prosecco. In addition to Prosecco, the Veneto region also produces the sweet sparkling wine Fior d’Arancio Colli Euganei DOCG, which features instantly recognizable fragrant notes of orange and lemon. This refreshing sparkling wine, with only 6% alcohol by volume, is perfect as a sweet aperitif.
