Innovation - Tradition - Vision - Legio Vallis combines all these elements. Inspired by the Romans, who thought far beyond their borders and were stationed in Valais with the Legion XII Fulminata (Legio Vallis), Vins et Vignobles Julius furs Valais has planted 4 unconventional grape varieties. These are Arneis, Lagrein, Malbec and Primitivo. The winery's vision is to create a novel wine with each of these varieties in combination with other grape varieties. Traditional and modern vinification methods are combined. The courage to go the extra mile was rewarded with the first wine, the Fulminata. A powerful yet elegant Appassimento from Valais grapes, which was inspired by the famous Amarone. With the Merlot-Primitivo and Chasselas-Heida-Arneis, two wonderful and sweet everyday wines with an international character were created. Wines for every occasion!
