Dark, dense ruby red. Elegant, delicate aroma with notes of fruits and red roses, pepper, and sweet licorice. Elegant on the palate as well, with fine tannins and a long finish. The aromas perceived on the nose are echoed on the palate. Pairs well with polenta with game or mushrooms, roasts, and lamb. Aged for 9 months in barriques.
