Product details
The history of the Torrevento winery began with the dream of Francesco Liantonio, who returned to his homeland of Apulia from New York in 1923 to produce olive oil and wines. Francesco Liantonio Jr. focuses on indigenous grape varieties from Apulia such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Nero di Troia, Aglianico, and Bombino Nero. The Vigna Pedale is made from the native grape variety Nero di Troia, which produces full-bodied and fruity wines that are very well suited for aging. The Riserva 2016 is an excellent example of this. Tasting notes: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Full-bodied and fragrant bouquet with hints of red berry fruits. A rich, harmonious wine with spicy notes.
