The TANGIT Special Cleaner KS Cleaner is an ethanol-based high-performance cleaner designed for the professional preparation of plastic welding joints. This product is intended for the thorough cleaning of joining parts and welding tools made from PE, PP, PB, PVDF, and ECTFE, ensuring a safe and reproducible welding quality. Due to the high purity of the raw material, grease, dirt, and production-related residues are reliably removed. The cleaner dries quickly and completely residue-free, making it suitable for use in ultrapure water applications. The application is performed in a controlled manner before the welding process in accordance with the applicable technical guidelines.

Instructions for use | Substrate preparation: The binding technical and material-specific information provided by the pipe and fitting manufacturers must be observed. General guidelines for PE welded joints are set out in standard DVS 2207-1. Cleaner: Open the container by pressing in and simultaneously turning the cap. Apply using a white, lint-free cellulose paper. Application: Clean the parts to be joined thoroughly with Tangit KS Cleaner, using a new cloth for each cleaning operation. Wipe the parts to be joined dry with a clean, dry and lint-free cellulose paper immediately before welding. The welding tools must be cleaned with a clean, dry cellulose paper before each weld. |
