Cleaning agent for adhesive joints made of PVC-U, PVC-C, and ABS, a necessary system component for Tangit pipe adhesives.
It reliably removes residues and contaminants, has high purity, and dries without leaving any residue. It provides optimal solubility for secure bonding.

Application:
Cleaning agent for adhesive joints made of PVC-U, PVC-C, and ABS (for plastic welding joints, use Tangit special cleaner for PP/PE/PB/PVDF). A necessary system component for Tangit pipe adhesives.
Special notes:
Wear appropriate protective clothing while working. Please also refer to the technical data sheet and the safety data sheet.
Processing instructions:
Cut the pipe end at a right angle, bevel the outside (15°), and deburr. Pre-clean and dry the bonding surfaces. Mark the insertion depth on the pipe end. Apply Tangit Cleaner PVC-U/PVC-C/ABS to absorbent paper towels and thoroughly clean the dry bonding surfaces. Renew towels after each cleaning process.
Consumption:
Sufficient for approximately 80 connections at d = 63 mm (calculated for 1000 ml).

Instructions for use | Preparation: Only use TANGIT PVC-U/C/ABS Cleaner on dry, pre-cleaned surfaces. When used in combination with TANGIT PVC-U, PVC-C or ABS, follow the instructions in the relevant technical data sheets. Please also follow the instructions provided by the pipe and fitting manufacturers. Application: Thorough cleaning is carried out using TANGIT PVC-U/C/ABS Cleaner. To do this, soak white, lint-free cellulose paper in the cleaner and thoroughly clean the dry surfaces to be bonded, ensuring they are free from grease and dirt. The paper must be replaced after each cleaning operation. Surfaces cleaned with TANGIT PVC-U/C/ABS Cleaner must be allowed to dry before the adhesive is applied. Any ice that may be adhering must be removed by warming (to lukewarm). TANGIT PVC-U/C/ABS Cleaner reacts with the corresponding base materials. Pipes and fittings must therefore be kept away from any spilled cleaner. Seal containers not in use tightly immediately to prevent solvent loss. Brushes cleaned with TANGIT PVC-U/C/ABS Cleaner must be dry before reuse. Consumption: The following quantities of cleaner are required to create a bonded joint: - Pipe diameter 20 mm, cleaner 3 ml - Pipe diameter 32 mm, 5 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 50 mm, 9 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 63 mm, 11 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 75 mm, 13 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 90 mm, 14 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 110 mm, 17 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 140 mm, 21 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 160 mm, 25 ml of cleaner - Pipe diameter 200 mm, cleaner 45ml – pipe diameter 225mm, cleaner 65ml – pipe diameter 315mm, cleaner 102ml Note: These figures are for guidance only and are based on laboratory experience.
