The octagonal leaf, which is shaped like a rosette, has small hairs on the underside and is serrated along the edge. It has the ability to hold a drop of dew in the center of the leaf, allowing it to survive longer dry periods. Both the leaves and the stems, as well as the flowers, are used.

How does it taste? The cup color of lady's mantle shimmers a rich golden yellow, and the aroma is reminiscent of a summer bouquet. The delicate, rounded flavor is complemented by a refreshing green tea note. The finish is fresh with a slightly bitter-smooth note.

Enjoyment and cooking tips: This herbaceous aromatic tea pairs excellently with modern cuisine as well as Japanese dishes like sushi and maki. It can also be served with dishes such as steaks or lamb stew. The flavor of dark chocolate is further enhanced by an aromatic, bitter herbal note.
