Captivating, full-bodied, rich, and elegant with a certain sweetness and aromas of cocoa and vanilla, leading to an endless finish. The hand-picked grapes of Sessantanni come from vineyards around the municipality of San Marzano. The fermentation takes place with temperature-controlled processes at temperatures between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months in French barriques and large Slovenian oak barrels. Old Vines = old vines. The over 60-year-old vines produce the best and most concentrated grape material. The low rainfall also positively influences the quality.
