Even as a child, Sarala wanted to be like her father, a Chaiwala with her own tea stall. It was a challenge, as this work is traditionally reserved for men. Today, she has succeeded. People love their Chaiwali – their tea woman. And her spicy chai, which she prepares with great love according to her own recipe. And we love Sarala because she has shared with us the recipe for the spice blend of this chai tea.
