Ingredients and instructions for use

Instructions for use
One hectare of land, bordered by nature itself, where the Cabernet Franc grape variety is cultivated. At the centre of this magical vineyard stands a centuries-old holm oak. We are in Bolgheri, not far from the hilly area of Donoratico, at 120 metres above sea level: the red, sandy soil of the nearby coast gives way to a clayey, calcareous soil characterised by the typical rocky skeleton of the alluvial plain. Here there are no obstacles to the sun, which shines on the vineyard all day long and ensures the perfect ripening of the grapes according to microclimates dependent on exposure: fresh and impetuous are the grapes of the morning with north-east exposure, sugary and exuberant the grapes of midday with south exposure, fine and fragrant those of the evening with west exposure. In the glass, the wine is a deep, complex red colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, sage, rosemary and sweet Brazilian tobacco. Full-bodied on the palate, very linear and fine-grained tannins with great intensity and power. What purity and length. Needs another two to three years to open up fully. Further ageing is recommended and will be rewarded!
