Paserene Wines Bright by Paserene

95% of the Chardonnay grapes come from Franschhoek, with the remaining 5% from Tulbagh. After fermentation in barrels, the wines are blended and then aged for several months in 20% new French oak barrels as well as in second and third fill oak barrels. This wine displays a rich straw-green color in the glass. On the nose, it delights with beautiful citrus notes, and with further swirling, a chalky minerality emerges. White orange blossoms, neroli, and orange peel are present both on the nose and palate. The mouthfeel is soft and broad, yet dense.
