The Verdejo grape variety has rightly earned its place as the queen among white varieties in northern Spain. Over time, it has spread southward and thrives there with its own character. On the nose, one discovers playful aromas of jasmine and orange blossom, refined with hints of hay and citrus fruits. The taste is dry, fruity, with balanced minerality.

The wines of the Parra family are now among the best-selling organic wines on the market, and rightly so. The recipe for success sounds simple, but it is hard-earned: great diligence, consistent seriousness with a sense of humor in daily, quality-oriented work, and harmonious wines with a clear hierarchy that share an astonishing level of quality at reasonable prices. The old concrete barrels have been replaced by a modern cellar. New vineyards have been established, and interesting grape varieties new to the La Mancha region have been planted. In addition to the 150 hectares of vineyards, the brothers are also involved in the cultivation of grains, garlic, and black truffles. In 2012, they received certification according to Demeter guidelines. In the consciously power-free dome building, only grapes cultivated by human labor are processed at natural temperatures in amphorae and wooden barrels to create truly special wines. All cellar equipment is operated by hand.
