Monin Currant - Cassis Syrup

The black currant, also known to us under the French name Cassis, is a very common berry fruit in Europe. Its use is very popular, especially as a liqueur or syrup, but it also forms the basis of the world-famous aperitif Kir Royale. Because of its sweetish/bitter taste also wonderful to use in jams, fruit cakes and fruit pies, in cocktails and fruit punches or smoothies.
