Miradent Xylitol

Miradent Xylitol gum sustainably reduces the formation of cavities with its cleansing and plaque-inhibiting effect, especially after meals. Xylitol forms complexes with calcium and salivary proteins in the oral cavity, leading to the remineralization of tooth enamel. With sufficient xylitol intake, no new plaque forms on the teeth. This prevents the development of cavities, dissolves existing dental plaque, and removes it. Xylitol creates a cooling effect on the tongue, similar to the refreshing taste of menthol. Bacteria in the oral cavity cannot utilize xylitol, which means it has no cavity-causing effect.
