Miradent Xylitol Gum Kids Strawberry (30 pieces)

Xylitol forms complexes with calcium and salivary proteins in the oral cavity, leading to the remineralization of tooth enamel. With sufficient xylitol intake, no new plaque forms on the teeth. This prevents the development of cavities, dissolves, and removes existing dental plaque. Xylitol creates a cooling effect on the tongue, similar to the refreshing taste of menthol. Bacteria in the oral cavity cannot utilize xylitol, which means it has no cavity-causing effect. These mechanisms can lead to a reduction in cavity incidence of up to 100%.
