Miradent Xylitol

Miradent Xylitol Gum sustainably reduces the formation of cavities with its cleansing and plaque-inhibiting effects, especially after meals. Xylitol forms complexes with calcium and salivary proteins in the oral cavity, which lead to the remineralization of tooth enamel. With adequate xylitol intake, no new plaque forms on the teeth. This prevents the development of cavities, dissolves, and removes existing dental plaque. Xylitol creates a cooling effect on the tongue, similar to the refreshing taste of menthol. Bacteria in the oral cavity cannot utilize xylitol, so it has no cavity-causing effect.
