This assemblage is a homage to Giuseppe Miolo, the Italian immigrant who was given the land number 43 at the time. It is a single vineyard, which has been separately vinified and aged by the oenologist
Adriano Miolo since 1999. This cuvée is already impressive on the nose. Even the experienced wine connoisseur could tip to Bordeaux in a blind tasting. The aroma is typical of the variety and classic at the same time. The fine ageing aromas (liquorice, tobacco, coffee) blend with the fruit notes (blackcurrant, plum, wild berries), which in combination with smoky, animal scents (musk) leave a complex impression on the nose. The body is supple, velvety and full-bodied, and the fruity structure gives this cuvée a refreshing, persistent character. The finale is persistent, consistent and leaves nothing to be desired. A Brazilian wine with this quality - who would have thought it?
